Personalizing Services With A Funeral Home

When you sit across the table from a funeral director at a funeral home in Las Vegas, NV, they will likely present you with package options for the final service you need to hold for a loved one. It’s nice to have those choices in black and white right in front of you, but aren’t they all the same? You don’t want to pick a certain package and end up with the exact same service someone else had. There’s no danger of that because funeral home representatives want to do everything they can to personalize your loved one’s funeral in the ways you see fit. There are plenty of ways to do just that. Plus, keep in mind that the service is all about your loved one. Even if you do the exact same thing as someone else, it’ll be completely different because of the person it is honoring. Here are a few ways to personalize things even further:

Choose Unique Songs

Everyone has a favorite song and you can use that song to make the most out of the service you are having for your loved one. Perhaps they loved Christmas music more than anything. There’s nothing wrong with playing Christmas tunes in their honor, even in the middle of the summer. If there was a particular style of music they enjoyed, have it on in the background as people come and go. This will infuse your loved one’s personality into the service from the very beginning.

Fun Pictures

You want people to remember what a life your loved one had. Pictures are an important part of bringing those memories alive. You can place a memory table at the back of the room for people to look at as they arrive. Or, you can have a slideshow of pictures going throughout the service or as a part of the service. These pictures show some of your loved one’s best moments so everyone can enjoy the life well-lived.

Shared Memories

If you’re having a funeral service, perhaps one person will share a eulogy. This is an important part of the service that can make it very unique. With a cremation service, many people can share memories and allow the service to come alive with uniqueness as well. These speakers contribute a lot towars making the services personal and unique.
