Wendy Kraft (WKraft@kraftsussman.com)
Wendy Kraft came to funeral service through a personal tragedy. She found that helping others who have had a loved one die was a personal calling for her. Wendy attended mortuary school in New England, prior to moving to Las Vegas. She worked for a corporate funeral home when she moved to Las Vegas, but quickly understood that the commission/bonus compensation of the corporate firms did not match her philosophy of supporting the bereaved. She had a goal of creating a funeral home where the primary goal is to serve the families of the deceased with support and compassion. Wendy is very involved in the community, serving on a number of boards and committees of various nonprofit organizations including the Human Rights Campaign, LAMBDA, Hadassah, Brandeis University Woman and a number of local synagogues. Wendy was also very instrumental in helping to start the Chevra Kadisha, a Jewish Burial Society, in Southern Nevada. Wendy is also a certified Funeral Celebrant. She is available to help you plan a meaningful service for your loved one.
