I have lost my best friend and my brother. Fred was both to me. I’m sorry I wasn’t there to share his pain and say goodbye. We grew up together on Morgan and Lyle Lane. He and I shared lots of Miss Helen‘s banana pudding Every other Sunday as a kid. We went to school together, played football together, and as a kid chased girls together!. I loved his blue T-Bird. I pray we see each other again on the other side. I will keep his family in prayer.

My deepest condolences to Fred’s family.
He was a wonderful guy who will always be remembered fondly. I met and worked with Fred at Ballys and stayed friends years after he left. He always knew how to make me laugh even when I was sure I didn’t want to. His smile was infectious. And that is how I will always remember him.
Rest In Peace Freddy

I met "Freddy C" when we both were getting fitted for our suits that we had to wear as new Casino Team Members at the Hard Rock Hotel. Both of us couldnt stand the original suits the Hard Rock had us in when we opened. Over the course of the next few years we became close friends. Fred was a great guy with a big heart! I will miss you Freddy C.

If I leave here tomorrow, would you still remember me? For I must be traveling on now, cause there's too many places I've got to see. But if I stayed here with you, things just couldn't be the same. Cause I'm free as a bird now, and this bird you cannot change. LYNYRD SKYNYRD

I worked with Fred at the Palms what seems like three lifetimes ago. In a business filled with nasty people, Fred found a way to shine with his kindness and easygoing nature. He will definitely be missed; may his family find comfort soon.

Sorry about your loss. I worked with Fred at the Hard Rock and have lasting memories of him. I was just telling someone about an incident that happened the other day. It made us laugh. I think the greatest legacy someone can leave is a smile on another person’s face. When I picture Fred he always had a smile. I was saddened to learn of his passing. My condolences to the family.
