She was always a lovely and friendly face in the crowd at Longevitology. Sad that it had to be her. Domenic
To her Soul: Don't fret; you'll do better next time. Cheers.

It is truly one of life's blessings when our paths cross and we have the opportunity to come face to face with an individual that touches us so deeply and in such a beautiful and meaningful way. I had just such an opportunity when I met Shalla Art! "She" forever touched my heart and Im so thankful for the happiness she brought into my life. Shalla is a force and light of that burns so very brightly. Shalla I will miss you more than words can say. Here is just a small token of my gratitude for all the joy you brought to me and so many others! We Love you and thank you for coming into our lives!
https://youtu.be/0tFeUiTN3xA
Shalla brought the gift of song into my life again when things were a bit grey. She lifted me up and splashed me with color. This song reminds me how knowing her Changed me 'For Good'
I've heard it said
That people come into our lives for a reason
Bringing something we must learn
And we are led
To those who help us most to grow
If we let them
And we help them in return
Well, I don't know if I believe that's true
But I know I'm who I am today
Because I knew you...
Like a comet pulled from orbit
As it passes a sun
Like a stream that meets a boulder
Halfway through the wood
Who can say if I've been changed for the better?
But because I knew you
I have been changed for good
It well may be
That we will never meet again
In this lifetime
So let me say before we part
So much of me
Is made of what I learned from you
You'll be with me
Like a handprint on my heart
And now whatever way our stories end
I know you have re-written mine
By being my friend...
Like a ship blown from its mooring
By a wind off the sea
Like a seed dropped by a skybird
In a distant wood
Who can say if I've been changed for the better?
But because I knew you
I have been changed for good.
And just to clear the air
I ask forgiveness
For the things I've done you blame me for
But then, I guess we know
There's blame to share
And none of it seems to matter anymore
Like a comet pulled from orbit
As it passes a sun
Like a stream that meets a boulder
Halfway through the wood
Like a ship blown from its mooring
By a wind off the sea
Like a seed dropped by a bird in the wood
Who can say if I've been
Changed for the better?
I do believe I have been
Changed for the better
Because I knew you...
I have been changed for good...
Love you Forever my Artist Friend

Shalla the Artist is how I will always remember my friend. Her thirst for living life fully is what strikes me as her lasting trait. To Tita and Sharon and Jojo, your support and kindness to Shalla is so impressive. I am forever moved by your expression of family love. Kindness is a commitment, forever kindness will be in my heart knowing that Shalla the Artist is watching over of us.
Be still the beating heart. My tears are not of sadness really. These tears are filled with Joy having been a friend of Shalla's. Her laugh, her smile, her depth of caring for others, I am blessed to have been her friend, her prayer partner in moments of pain.
Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and God's Light will shine upon you. Truly Shalla did seek God's Kingdom. Enjoy Heaven Shalla, indeed you have earned your wings.
In loving memory, Don Fouts, Prayer Chaplain, Unity of Las Vegas.

Shala is one of the sweetest person I've ever known. Always with a smile on her face. I remember the time when she hosted Spellbound, a fashion show, Shala wore one of my collections. I am so grateful that Shala presented my collection with elegance and gracious appearance.
Her memory will live on with me, and if she was here with us today, I know she’d be smiling. I am so grateful to have known her. May her soul rest in peace.

Hi, my name is Lady Valery. Shalla came to Sophia Center for Goddess Study last year with a Teddy Bear. Her energies were so amazing. I knew she was having some issues as her Teddy bear became her baby. She took it everywhere with her and it even held a seat in our circles. After hearing of her illness, it all made perfect sense - she wanted a baby before her transition. What a brave soul. Being a friend of her swimming teacher, and frequent visitor, I had the opportunity to hear her stories and feelings. I admire Shalia for her strength. GodSpeed Shalla Montemayor De Guzman.

I will FOREVER miss your hi’s, hellos and just simply those emojis and the random greetings you do on fb ~ Love you my friend ~ Florina

I first met Shalla at the Las Vegas Athletic Club a couple of years ago. She was such a vibrant women. Her smile is one that really captures your heart. We talked about her taking Spanish classes in Mexico to teach childreen English. So she could help children all over the world and get to travel. This discussion came up in the aqua class I taught and I speak very basic Spanish for some of my latino participants. She called me in December 2019 when she was at TLC and I went to visit with her. I did a little energy work (Reiki) and prayers with her. It is truly amazing how many of her friends are interconnected. So many people know of Shalla Art and the love that has poured out from them in 2020 on social media is a testament of her love, kindness, compassion and passion she has presented in this world.
Her and I have had late messenger phone calls during her transition to get her Angel Wings. She is truly an amazing woman and I am thankful that she has the courage to share her dying journey to myself and to others on social media. Her notes on her journey will be helpful to others whose loved ones go through the journey to get their angel wings.
I am so glad I can call her my friend. Give me a call from above. I will answer. Rest in Light and Love dear Shalla.
