Obituary of Herman Manzano Natividad

Herman Manzano Natividad, 76, of Las Vegas, NV passed away on Tuesday June 23, 2020. He was born March 27, 1944 in Pangasinan, Philippines to Emiliano and Francisca Natividad. Herman served in the United States Army, was a Vietnam Veteran and received an honorable discharge. While in the Army, he served as a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne division, first as a photographer, then as a medic. Herman went on to receive his bachelor's degree at San Francisco State University and his master's degree at the University of Southern California. He later went to serve his congregation as a minister at the Renewed Hope Ministries in Las Vegas, NV. While he was not spreading the good word of the Lord; Herman was very interested in fitness, running and swimming several miles a week for much of his life. He was an avid investor and life-long learner, who was fond of telling his extended family the "facts of life". While a man of peace, he enjoyed martial arts movies in addition to Christian network television. Herman is survived by his wife, Margarita "Margie" Mariano Natividad, of Honolulu, Hawaii who he married on June 16, 2001. Herman is also survived by his children, Leah (Greg) Beck of Yucaipa, CA; Beverly (Dan) Leeds of Chino Hills, CA; Hermie(Henry)Timbuleng and their daughters, Franceska and Danika of Moreno Valley, CA; William (Amanda) Natividad of Merill OR; Robert (Lihn) Natividad of Bedford, MA; and Sarah (Jason) Freed and their sons, Caleb and Ryan of The Woodlands, TX; his brother, John Natividad of the Philippines; and his nephew Ronnie Natividad of New Mexico; his niece, Ruth Natividad of Alameda, CA; and his nephew Rocky Natividad of Seattle, WA.;and his friend Jerry Hansen. Herman is preceded in death by his parents; Emiliano and Francisca; his sister Nida Natividad of the Philippines. Services will take place at 3 p.m., July 5, 2020 at Kraft Sussman Funeral and Cremation Services located at 3975 S, Durango Dr, Suite 104, Las Vegas, NV 89147. A reception as well as the place of internment will be announced following the service. A very special Thank You to Pastors Robert and Sonja Johnson of Renewed Hope of Las Vegas, as well as their congregation. As Herman would always say "God First" "I Live my life; you live yours and such is life"
