Obituary of Jay Allen Abramson

Jay Allen Abramson, age 67, of Las Vegas, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2020. Jay was born November 21, 1952 in Los Angeles CA to Albert Abramson (deceased) and Arlene Abramson. Jay attended San Diego State University and worked as a Slot Ambassador at the Aria Hotel and Casino. Jay enjoyed golf, baseball, photography and watching HBO and NetFlix series. His favorite passion was watching golf. Among the major golf championships, Jay loved the Masters' Tournament the most. Every January he would file for Paid Time Off in April so he could watch the players making the cut, until the championship round on Sunday. He loved watching the "green jacket" being presented and worn by the champions. He dreamed of going to Augusta one day and watch The Masters in person. Jay is survived by his wife Fran Abramson of Las Vegas; mother Arlene Abramson of Las Vegas and sister Susie Fein of Las Vegas. A memorial service will take place at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services, 3975 S. Durango Drive, Suite 104, Las Vegas, NV. The family will be available for visitors from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the funeral home. Fran wishes to express her thanks to her high school classmates from Holy Infant College, the Santo Nino Group of Las Vegas, the MGM/ARIA co-workers, the Jarrards family, Abramson family, and the Pedraza family.
