Obituary of Steven Saba Mevorah

Steven Saba Mevorah, age 75, of Las Vegas, passed away on July 22, 2020. Steven was born September 9, 1944 in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late Isidore Chubby and the late Edna Mevorah. He married Eileen Dale Hickey on November 10, 1966. He served in the Air Force. He worked in the New York garment district for many years before becoming a mortgage broker. He was active with Temple Bet Knesset Bamidbar in Sun City, Las Vegas, NV and volunteered to maintain the Temple's website. Steven was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He is survived by his wife: Eileen Dale (Hickey) Mevorah , two daughters: Jayme (Eric) Colon of Woodland Hills, CA (and his grandchildren Rachel & Hannah Colon) and Leslie Galves of Las Vegas, NV, and one son: Michael Mevorah of Las Vegas, NV: his sister, Annette Mevorah Rose of Boca Raton, FL. He will be missed, loved and never forgotten. Burial will be at Bunker’s Memory Gardens Cemetery, 7251 W Lone Mountain Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89129 on Tuesday, July 28th, 2020 at 10am. For those unable to attend can view the service from www.zoom.us.
