James Mooradian

Obituary of James Arthur Mooradian

James “Jimmy” Mooradian was born November 24, 1960, in Chicago, Illinois to Arthur Mooradian and Susan Rae Mooradian née Thull.

Jimmy grew up in Skokie IL in the 1960’s and 70’s. He loved making home movies.  His brothers and friends thought he was going to become a movie director.  Jim loved the outdoors, white water rafting, and camping became an annual event at Shot Gun Eddy’s on the Wolf river.

Jimmy lived in Las Vegas Nevada since 1994 and was in the automotive industry for 45 years where he has met the most magnificent people. He spent the past decade of his career at Gaudin Porsche where he learned to love cars as a much as he loved selling.

Jimmy will be remembered for his brilliant smile, humor, generosity, and his gift of gab. He had a unique way about him that made instant friends with everyone he met. He loved his family more than anything. Some of the greatest joys he had was teaching his son to drive and ski, going to the movie theatre, watching sports, fishing, golfing, and relaxing on his many beach vacations.

Jimmy passed peacefully with his family by his side on September 29,2021. He is preceded in death by his father Arthur and mother Susan. Those left to cherish Jimmy’s precious memories are his wife and son Brenda and Alex. His brothers Michael & Frank, their wives Kathy & Jacqui and his nephews and nieces Josh, Jake, and Julia. Alexa, Anthony, and Niki. His in-laws Bob Peterson, Gloria and Howard Dawes, Trudy Peterson, Robin and Joe Caputo, Bob and Adriana Peterson and his many nieces and nephews.

This Frank Sinatra quote reminds us of how Jim would want to be remembered “I would like to be remembered as a man who had a wonderful time living life, a man who had good friends, fine family - and I don’t think I could ask for anything more than that, actually”.
