He was very close to his mum and would make sure he called to check on her every week when she was alive, which he knew would always brighten her day. Mark enjoyed playing the drums and was a drummer for the Carolina’s Jazz Band. Twenty-two years ago, Mark met his soulmate; On January 9, 2016, Mark married Colin Longworth. Together they experienced life, love, happiness and enjoyed their five small dogs. Mark will fondly be remembered as a staunch friend, loving husband, and brother. He had a compassionate heart, generous spirit, and an incredible zeal for the simple joys of life. He will truly be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Mark was met at the gates of heaven by his parents and brother John. He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving husband Colin, siblings Brenda, Denise and Paul, and host of family and friends.
