Obituary of Sin Yeong Chung

Sin Yeong “Victor” Chung, age 58, died Saturday, February 8, 2020 in Henderson, NV. Mr. Chung was born on March 6, 1961 in Seoul, Korea. He is the son of the late Chu Seong and Yon Hee (Cha) Chung. Victor proudly served in the United States Army. He enjoyed the ocean, creating artwork, food, reading his bible, and taking long walks. He is survived by Hee Jin Chung, Yon Hee (Cha) Chung, Kyung Chung, Hyun Tanaka, Hae Chung, Haeng Reed, Misty Farran, Sue Jin Chung, Young Jin Chung, Seong Jin Chung, Chang II Chung, Milton Tanaka, Jack Farran, and Jim Reed. He was preceded in death by his father Chu Seong Chung who passed away in 1989. Visitation will be held at Kraft Sussman Funeral and Cremation Services located at 3975 S Durango Dr., Ste. 104 Las Vegas, NV 89147 on Tuesday, February 11th from 9am to 12pm His graveside services with Military Funeral Honors will be held at Palm Eastern Mortuary and Cemetery located at 7600 S Eastern Ave Las Vegas NV 89123 on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at 10 am with a reception to follow. God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be; so he put his arms around you and whispered “Come to Me”; With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away; Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard-working hands to rest; God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
