Obituary of Stanley Sigmund Schwartz

Stanley Sigmund Schwartz, age 89, of Las Vegas, died Sunday, October 30, 2011. Stanley was born September 22, 1922 in San Francisco CA to the late Joseph and the late Sarah (Sirbu) Schwartz. After growing up in San Francisco, Stanley enlisted in the Navy and served during World War II. He later worked in sales for Schenley Industries. One of his greatest loves was playing jazz piano. Stanley is survived by his children Stan (Kathleen) Schwartz of Reno NV, Jan (Tom) Borg of Houston TX, Laura (Jed) Schlanger of Portland OR and Judy Schwartz of Redwood City CA; and his sister, Lois Landi-Vandon (Leo) of Las Vegas. A service will be held at the National Cemetery in San Bruno CA. Donations in Stanley's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
