Obituary of Yakov Kushnir

Yakov Kushnir, age 62, a 14 year resident of Las Vegas, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011. Yakov was born June 21, 1949 in Moldova to the late Aaron and the late Polina (Kuner) Kushnir. He had a degree in chemical engineering and moved to the United States in 1991. In Las Vegas, Yakov worked as a slot mechanic and enjoyed computers, photography, reading and collecting pens, watches and knives. Yakov is survived by his wife Olexandra Kushnir; son Konstantin Kushnirof of Los Angeles; and sister Janet (Sam) Shliz of Los Angeles. A graveside service will be held 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1500 Las Vegas Boulevard North, Las Vegas, NV. .
