Obituary of Elaine Lois Schaffer

Elaine Lois Schaffer, 84, passed away February 8, 2021. Elaine was born July 30,1936 in Cleveland Ohio to the late Martin and the late Estelle Farkas. Elaine was married for 61 years to the love of her life, the late Shel Schaffer. Elaine was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and her family meant everything to her. Elaine was a loving mother to Mark (wife Lisa) Schaffer and Robin (husband Steve) Breckner. Beloved grandmother to Scott (wife Talia) Schaffer, Emily (husband Jeremy) Cohen, Jake and Julia Breckner, and great grandmother to Eliana Schaffer. Elaine will be missed by her brother Danny Farkas, and sisters in-law Judith Schaffer and Celia Farkas. Elaine is predeceased by brother Robert Farkas, and brother-in-law Marshall Schaffer. Elaine will always be remembered as wonderful, loving, caring, supportive and funny. She had a huge heart and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and loved them all. Her family will miss her greatly and they will forever "love her bunches". A private family memorial service was held on February 15th.
