Obituary of Frank Joseph D'acquisto

Frankie Joseph D'Acquisto, also know as "Frankie D", passed away peacefully in his home in Las Vegas on Saturday, July 31st, 2021, at the age of 80. He was surrounded by family and his wife of 28 years, Laralyn, whom he lovingly called Dolly. Frankie was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on September 28, 1940, to Nunzio and Lucille D'Acquisto. After serving in the United States Army, Frankie moved to Las Vegas in the early 1960's, where he began working in the gaming industry, as a baccarat dealer and a pit poss. Frankie opened a restaurant called Pizza Bella and tended bar for friends Charlie & Marlie at The Triple Play Restaurant & Bar. Frankie was the owner of 'D' Brush Painting & Drywall until his retirement. He loved to cook & bake, and often gifted friends and family with his amazing meatballs & sauce and the most delicious pecan rolls. He enjoyed golf and was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers. His beloved chihuahua, Wilbur, was a great source of joy to him. Frankie was preceded in death by his parents and brother Nicholas. He is survived by his loving wife, Laralyn, daughters Lucia, Elizabeth, Mary, Heather and Frances, stepchildren Kim, Jeff, Angie & Chris and their respective spouses and children. Additionally, he is survived by three brothers Fred, Peter & Leonard and their families. He will be remembered by so many friends and family for his laughter and hospitality. There will be a memorial service in his honor at a family home on Saturday, August 14th at 10:00 a.m.
