Obituary of Donna Dee Ring
Donna Ring peacefully passed the morning of December 26th, 2023. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family. Donna was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, but lived most of her life in California and Nevada. In 2017, she and her husband, Ron Ring, moved to beautiful Summerlin, Nevada, to their home in the very friendly and neighborly community.
Donna married her husband Ron Ring in a beautiful backyard ceremony in July of 1997, and they shared a wonderful life together in La Quinta, Ca and Summerlin, Nevada. Donna spent her younger years growing up in Indiana, and moved to Long Beach, California soon after. She was a graduate of Banning High School, where she was elected prom queen in her senior year. Donna raised two wonderful sons, Steve and Mike, that she loved dearly and enjoyed supporting them through all their life adventures: sports, schooling, friends, marriages, and families. Donna was the epitome of Class; from the way she dressed, her elaborate meals she created, her ability to handle any obstacle with strength and dignity, and her unwavering love for her family.
With Donna’s business prowess and a flare for creativity, she built four successful businesses beautifying homes throughout Orange County, Los Angeles, and in the Palm Springs Area for many years. Retirement was a difficult decision because she loved seeing her visons come to life, the people that worked beside her, and the clients that saw the magic she created through Interior Decorating. One of her greatest joys of her life was when her two sons blessed her with five wonderful grandchildren. Like everything else she did, she was a loving and doting grandma. Donna was the beloved wife of Ron Ring; loving mother of Steve (Sylvia) Williams and Mike (Ann) Williams, and to Ron’s children: Denise Ring and the late Troy Ring; cherished grandma to Amy, Ryan (Monica), Brendan, Lindsay, Zach, and Shayna; joyful great grandma to Ava, Andrew, Aleah, Haven, and Rayden, and dear Aunt to many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her siblings David (Vicky) Kittay, Deborah Hunt, Beverly (Greg) Darrow, Cathy (Late Jack) Swindle, and many extended family members. Proceeded in death by her father, Donald (Carolyn) Hilt; her mother Frances (Jerry) Kittay, and her sister, Nicki Porzio.
