Obituary of Shirley Hoffman

Shirley Hoffman, age 77, a 25 year resident of Las Vegas, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2012. Shirley was born October 2, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Benjamin and the late Rose (Schneider) Cooper. Shirley worked as a secretary for an employment agency while in New York. She was a woman who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life; family, reading a good book, bingo and nickel slots. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Shirley is survived by her husband Samuel Hoffman of Las Vegas; sons Steven (Roberta) Hoffman of Las Vegas and Richard (Janet) Hoffman of Old Bridge NJ; grandchildren Nikki Hoffman of Old Bridge and Scott Hoffman of Las Vegas; and brothers Seymour (Charlotte) Cooper of Brooklyn NY and Allen (Karol) Cooper of Staten Island NY. The funeral and interment will be held 9:20 am on Monday, December 17, 2012 at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive in Boulder City, NV. .
