Anthony Tullo posted a condolence
My uncle Leo. A very good man.
Taught me and showed me many lessons in life.
Took me on my first deep-sea fishing trip at age 10, on the Atlantic Ocean, out of Sheepshead Bay Brooklyn.
He insisted that I have a plum for breakfast. I got severely seasick and we saw that red plum for six hours, as he and the other fisherman laughed and stepped over my lifeless body on that slimy scale infested deck of the fishing boat.
I begged for them to take me back, to shore, they laughed and told me to feed the plum to the fishes.
He supported me when times were bad and coached me when I needed it.
He bought my first jewelers bench and the tools that I still have today.
He took me on a trip to the diamond center on 47 Street in New York to meet one of his good friends.
I saw diamond cutters and jewelers making beautiful works of art, at age 15, it was a birthday gift.
I made many pieces of jewelry on that bench and use the tools that he personally handed me to start my jewelry-designing endeavor.
I will miss him very much. I wish I could've spent more time with him but life's path takes us in different directions.
My prayers are with my cousins and I know he's smiling with my son, my father, my uncle’s mom and his dad and they are happy.

Uncle Leo. I couldn't have been more than 2 years old when I watched him getting ready to go out. I used to sit at Grandma's dressing table while he combed his hair and played Frank Sinatra records. I can still see the album cover of "Fly Me to The Moon." I ALWAYS think of Uncle Leo when I hear "Frankie". I was the first grandchild so I got spoiled rotten by him and Aunt Connie. My Dad has been waiting a long time for a crabbing partner.

Uncle Leo,
As I sit here writing, I remember the times that I spent at your house during the summer breaks, the times during the holiday that we get together at my childhood home. Always an extension as my father figure, my wish for you is Heaven's open gates, a warm embrace and the warmth of sunshine on your face, a bay filled with crabs and of course, good football game. May God hold you in the palm of his hand.
Love Theresa (Mikes daughter)
